OUTwork at City Lights Greater Bridgeport Pride


Exhibit opens as part of the Greater Bridgeport Pride weekend, on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at City Lights Gallery 265 Golden Hill St, Bridgeport, CT 06604

All artists are invited to submit jpegs of their work for consideration by June 30 2023. Artists will be notified by July 8, 2023. For more info email: clgallerybpt@gmail.com

OUTwork explores issues of gender, LGBTQ life, love and relationships, family, social justice, bias, personal stories and perspectives, pride, current issues of 2023, etc. Artists need not be gay, lesbian, nonbinary, or transgender to participate. allies welcome.
The intention is to support the greatest possible inclusion and to create a platform for people of diverse backgrounds to meet and exchange ideas and want to express their support and respect.

SEND SUBMISSIONS IN JPEG FORMAT, (no more than 8 images), 72 DPI, DUE BY JULY 1, 2023 to: clgallerybpt@gmail.com
Chosen work can be dropped off at the gallery during gallery hours, W-F, 12-5 and Sat 12-4 pm. July 14-15 and July 19-22, 2023.

NECESSARY INFO TO INCLUDE WITH SUBMISSION: Brief artists statement, itemized list of art submitted should include: title, size, medium, price of work, Works not for sale should include a value rather than a price. Also include artist’s contact info: name, email, phone (evening and daytime numbers), mailing address and website if available.
City Lights is a nonprofit arts organization located in downtown Bridgeport CT. that serves the community through art, easily accessible by Metro-North, Port Jeff Ferry, I-95 and the Merrit Parkway via the Route 25 Connector. There is no size limit to the dimension of art submitted, however larger works, over 60″ will be subject to space limitations.
