AIM HIGHER YOUTH MURAL PROJECT UNVEILED ON THIURSDAY, 9/28/19
AT BLENDS GALLERY, 3-5 PM RECEPTION
1163 MAIN ST. DOWNTOWN BRIDGEPORT, CT 06604 

Aim Higher Together-Bridgeport Initiative is
a public art campaign designed to bring the community together to work against gun violence.
Community partners include: Blends Gallery,UnLoad Foundation City Lights/Bridgeport Art Trail,
Colorful Bridgeport/DSSD, Bpt Generation Now,  Neighborhood Studios of Fairfield County. 

Jahmane West works with youth in preparation of the mural painting to be done Saturday, Sept. 14 & 21.
Saturday 9/28, from 3-5 pm, join us for the unveiling of the final mural to be installed on the exterior wall of BLENDS gallery at 1163 Main St, downtown Main St. Bridgeport CT.

Winning student art: Mbiya Kobongo

Mbiya Kobongo was announced as the winner of student art competition. 
He said he asked his Mom to buy him some coffee. He chose this as the medium to
paint the cityscape representing Bridgeport because the city is stained with violence.
