ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS:
Deborah Dean is a seasoned art instructor from the Trumbull school system. She presents lessons in a sequential manner, blending traditional basics with her latest focus on Eco-Art. Her work was recently on exhibit at the Garbage Museum in Stratford, CT. Creating and teaching art is her passion, her efforts were recognized by her peers who nominated her for Teacher of the Year, 2009.

Suzanne Kachmar received her MFA at the New York Academy of Art. She also studied at the Universita' per Stranieri in Perugia Italy. She has taught art to people of all ages and abilities. Her work has shown in Connecticut and New York. and is in several private and corporate collections.

Encaustic collage workshop on Sunday June 13, with Leslie Giuliani. Registration fee for 1 day workshop, 10AM - 4PM is $125. Includes encaustic supplies. Students should being photos and images for collage and phototransfer. Photocopied Images must be from a xerox or laser print NOT inkjet for transferring technique.
