The 5th Annual Exhibit, SAMESEX 2015 at City Lights Gallery, July 9-August 12, 2015, was a gender inclusive art exhibit and event of painting, photography, wigs, head dresses, fiber art, and projected art. Featured work included photographic and audio documentation of individuals expressing their thoughts on gender identity by “Gender Projected”, fiber art by Nancy Moore and Ellen Schinderman and lenticular images by Miggs Burroughs that change as the viewer walks by.
Thursday, July 9, 2015 Opening Reception included street party, pride march and drag contest.

OPENING RECEPTION/PRIDE MARCH/STREET PARTY/DRAG CONTEST: THURSDAY, JULY 9, 5:30-9:00 p.m. $10 Suggested Donation. The exhibit and opening festivities celebrated gender equality for all, discrimination for none and the creativity of the artist community. TIAGO’S supported the event, with drinks and music.

As a part of the Annual 2015 SAMESEX Art Exhibit at City Lights Gallery “Opening Night Festivities” there was a “DRAG CONTEST for QUEENS & KINGS”!! THREE $100 PRIZES for the categories of “BEST HAIR”, “BEST MAKE-UP” & “BEST OVERALL LOOK”! The 2015 theme for the SAMESEX Art Exhibit was “Gender Identity”.
ALSO… Javier Colon winner of the VOICE performed that night at the Bijoux, part of the McLevy Green Thursday Nights summer music series.
Last Year’s Love Parade
