CLASS: DRAWING WITH SILVERPOINT

Artist/illustrator Joel Spector will conduct this workshop
Learn to work with this precious drawing tool, favored by Renaissance masters: Van Eyk, Lenoardo da Vinci, Rembrandt. While applying the drawing with a stylis filled with silver wire, the lines resemble pencil. The silver then reacts to the air and tarnishes creating a rich tonality. Silver strokes shimmer with reflected light.
Students will learn to draw with the silver stylus and prepare a sufrace to receive silverpoint and other media.
